The Team and About Us

Just Ride It was born in the Year 2012. We started with a clear mindset to service the single speed and fixed gear market. It was apparent that riders of these simple machines didn't just want an off the shelf bike, designed in an office to fit the masses, they wanted something unique, special, personal. It’s for that reason we became a dedicated custom bike shop.

We quickly gained a strong following in our home city of Melbourne and further afield to other parts of Australia. Through social media this following grew to new heights with increased interest from international customers.

Over the last 10+ years we have continually developed our offerings, adding new products and manufacturers on an almost monthly basis. We strive to offer something for everyone. Whether you are a new rider or someone with years of experience we can cater to your needs. We offer budget bikes for the casual rider or high performance machines with a dedicated purpose.

Alongside our offerings to the general public we are also a specialist in working with other businesses to create branded bikes with many potential uses. We have developed a great team at Just Ride It, each member bringing something new and different to the table. All of our staff go above and beyond to ensure the best possible experience for the customer. You’ll often find the guys in the workshop many hours after close of business getting things across the line.

Steve – Founder

Steve has been riding a bike of some kind all his life. Whether it’s downhill, trials, mountain, road or fixed he’s got them all. After working in numerous industries in various countries he finally decided to do something he loved and founded the Just Ride It brand.
